HARVESTING
WINTER HANDS: Each year when the air gets cold the skin on my son's hands become painfully inflamed with red patches and bleeding knuckles. Right now I am testing on his hand a lotion bar infused with herbs of calendula, yarrow and St. John that would act as a protective shield and at the same time heal his condition. Want to join me and test this product too? Looking for 2 more people with similar condition that would be interested to test and review the product.(shipping fees apply, for GTA Toronto pick up can be arranged). Interested to learn how to make the lotion bar yourself? Reach out to arrange in person or zoom workshop.

Bear Power rub for arthritis, pain and for cold.
If you are like me who is very sensitive about hurting other creatures big and small you will surely understand my hesitation about including something like bear fat in the products. I searched number of companies in Canada that sell bear fat to ensure that buying their product won’t add to unnecessary suffering of the animals . I came across the First Nation company that is certified by the Canadian Government and employ hunters from indigenous communities to manage the bear population across Canada.
Bear oil has been used since the early 1800 and bear hunters have been honored and respected in the First Nation communities but until recently bear fat has been usually available only to hunters for food, social or ceremonial reasons and lots of product was wasted.
I use the product only in a healing balm and do not want to use it for other than healing purposes. When you use this product, please use it with respect and gratitude, giving thanks to powerful animal for sharing its healing powers with us.
The white fat stored on a bear is loaded with energy and is the fuel for the bear to make it through six months of hibernation. It has rich elements that will draw energy to the area it is placed on. Bear Grease also traditionally used in indigenous communities for skin ailments like rashes, sun burns for ligament problems like arthritis, tendonitis, sprains.
Other ingredients include infused poplar buds, devils’ claw root, cayenne pepper and willow bark - all natural remedies well known for their pain relieving, warming and anti-inflammatory properties.
How to use Bear Power: rub some balm on body parts that need healing and attention.
During cold and cough, you can also apply it on your back and chest as well as on the soles of your feet. Wear warm socks, wrap yourself in a blanket and drink plenty of liquids to keep yourself warm and cozy.
Be careful not to rub your eyes after balm application as it contains cayenne pepper.
